Our story

Laguna Formosa is located 5 minutes from Faro international airport and 10 minutes from Faro city centre . The islands that surround the capital of the Algarve as well as the Ria Formosa are part of a unique natural beauty and in some places almost wild. Side by side with the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, Laguna Formosa is a modern villa located in Montenegro, one of the parishes from Faro. A few minutes away we have the Tennis and Padel Center and the Bié Riding Club.

You can enjoy jogging or cycling in the pine forest, enjoy the beach, go canoeing, windsurfing, kite surfing, bodyboarding, or simply enjoy the white sand and crystal clear water. You can take boat trips from Faro to the neighboring islands ( Farol , Armona , Deserta ). For hikers and nature lovers, there are extensive areas where you can see the salt marshes and various species of the Ria Formosa, including the flamingos.
